After-School and Summer Programming for Youth
Famicos offers after-school and summer programming for Hough neighborhood youth. Components of this youth service include a Youth Council and Youth Community Garden, tutoring services, financial literacy training, nutritious after-school snacks/summer lunches, arts and culture workshops and environmental awareness and education. This program keeps children engaged in positive activities in a safe and supportive environment throughout the year.

Youth Learn and Earn
To meet the need of our working age youth, Famicos has developed Learn and Earn opportunities, with funding through the United Way, that reward youth with a stipend for their participation in Life Skills and Education programming.

TILI (Technology Information Literacy Initiative)
TILI is a partnership between Famicos Foundation and Cuyahoga Community College and provides a variety of educational opportunities for neighborhood residents. Adults can enroll in computer classes, earn their GED and use open lab hours; youth receive homework assistance daily throughout the school year and enjoy a curriculum that is fun yet keeps them learning and engaged over the summer months.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)
In partnership with The Cuyahoga EITC Coalition (Earned Income Tax Credit) (http://www.refundohio.org) and the Internal Revenue Service this program utilizes volunteer tax preparers to complete tax returns for low-wage earning families.
