Volunteer Opportunities

Famicos Foundation utilizes the skills of dedicated volunteers for a variety of needs.  If you or your group is interested in volunteering at Famicos Foundation please contact us now or sign up through Volunteer Match.   Currently, we are looking for volunteers to: Tutor kids enrolled in our After-School programming in Math, Science and English.  Install a new KaBoom! Playground for the Glenville - Greater University Circle neighborhood. Assist with the Glenville 5K Run-Walk taking place on August 9, 2008. Help with free tax prepartion for working families  If you or anyone you know is interested please visit refundohio.org to learn more or to sign up as a volunteer at any EITC site located throughout Cuyahoga County.  You many also call 216-791-6476 ext. 249 to talk with a representative.  This service is offered in partnership with the Internal Revenue Services' VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.)

Support

Famicos Foundation relies on donations to provide much needed social services to residents on an ongoing and as needed basis as well as for our bricks and mortar development projects.  The financial support from our friends, funders and partners is important so that we can continue to provide residents a variety of services that meet families' short term needs and long term goals. Famicos Foundation accepts cash donations as well as online donations.  Donations allow Famicos Foundation to provide important support and social services to the families we serve.  Checks made payable to Famicos Foundation can be mailed to Dirctor of Fund Development, Famicos Foundation,  1325 Ansel Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106.
